As we drove across Cannock Chase this morning the autumn colour's really brought home how far through the year we are now. Lots of brides are choosing to get married later in the year and bridal wear manufacturers are doing lots to cater for this market.
There’s no such thing as a dress for a winter wedding, just like there’s no such thing as a dress just for a beach wedding. Just about any dress can be worn in any location and any time of the year, but when there’s a nip in the air accessories can really come into their own.

Don’t imagine, though, that these accessories are just for winter weddings here in the cold UK. They can be equally at home adding a little extra touch to any gown, perhaps in the evening, or in churches were they prefer you to cover your shoulders.
By the same token don’t always imagine that a wedding abroad should be left out. Hot locations can get very chilly in the evening and a jacket or bolero could well come in handy, equally places like Spain and Egypt can be colder than you’d imagine at this time of the year.
